using wtp3.0M5 20080208122952 (verified this was working correctly last week - so must be regression from a fix released this week) 1. open an existing xsd or wsdl file 2. make changes to design page 3. switch to source view 4. ctrl+s to save 5. file is saved but it's still marked as dirty
Actually, I verified it was still working 2 weeks ago in wtp3.0M5 20080126221202. This bug was visible in last week's build too. In my development environment, I used a wtp3.0M5 20080126221202 as my target build and then I had the latest code from xsd.ui and all its dependencies in wtp loaded. When I debugged, I found everything working as expected. I then switched targets and used a wtp3.0M5 20080201061906 build as my target build, keeping all the same projects open. Then I found the bug showed up. So it's very possible something changed in the platform to cause this regression.
(In reply to comment #1) > and then I had the latest code from xsd.ui and all its dependencies in > wtp loaded. No wait, I lied. I only had sse.core, sse.ui, wst.validation, xml.core, xml.ui, xsd.core, xsd.ui loaded. Everything else was from the target.
Fix has been released for 3.0 M5.
