Description Ruth Lee CLA 2008-01-24 15:25:47 EST
There is no work to do for this enhancement. Instead, this bugzilla will be used to track the items that are needed to get the COSMOS build to where we want it to be for v1.0.

Items that cannot be done by the build team, such as updating the development process, may be tracked under this enhancement.

This enhancement should be closed when all of the bugzillas that it depends on are complete.
Comment 1 Ruth Lee CLA 2008-01-24 15:26:50 EST
One part of getting the COSMOS build where we want it to be is to enable anyone to run a COSMOS build. To complete that work, we need to finish the wiki page describing how to do that work. See bugzilla 216499.
Comment 2 Ruth Lee CLA 2008-01-24 15:28:57 EST
We also need to run nightly builds and publish them to the public download page. See bugzilla 215389.
Comment 3 Ruth Lee CLA 2008-01-24 15:32:04 EST
We also need to address all of the comments from the RE_AND_BUILD_WISH_LIST. 216211 summarizes some of them.

It would be handy to have CVS tagged with a meaningful tag for each milestone driver. See 209998.

bugzilla 215607 addresses Jimmy's point, i.e.,
The download page must have a build that has ALL the components as soon as they become available. Even though this seems obvious, I state this explicitly since in the past, some components did not make it into the build even though they were available.

Cancelling this enhancement because we'll track this work via the Wiki instead.

As of TPTP 4.6.0, TPTP is in maintenance mode and focusing on improving quality by resolving relevant enhancements/defects and increasing test coverage through test creation, automation, Build Verification Tests (BVTs), and expanded run-time execution. As part of the TPTP Bugzilla housecleaning process (see http://wiki.eclipse.org/Bugzilla_Housecleaning_Processes), this enhancement/defect is verified/closed by the Project Lead since this originator of this enhancement/defect has an inactive Bugzilla account and considered to be fixed. If this enhancement/defect is still unresolved and reproducible in the latest TPTP release (http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/downloads/), please re-open.
