Description Nick Sandonato CLA 2008-01-17 18:45:24 EST
Build ID: M-2.0.2-20080117053217

Steps To Reproduce:
1. Create a JavaScript file
2. File > Save As...
3. Choose a new name for the file
4. Click OK

More information:
It seems that the content stream for the file, and even the Eclipse window title are updated. The editor tab title is not updated, however.

fix looks good

While this might not appear severe enough for a stop-ship bug, it is one for which there is no workaround and it causes a great deal of confusion when the title does not update properly in this one place. Not only does the editor have the old title, but because of the way the workbench works, it also appears to the user that they can't open the newly created file in the Javascript editor. The editor previously followed different code paths when notified that the input or title needed to be changed, one path updating both and the other only updating the input. This patch changes it so that both will be updated on both changes, provided that there's actually something to update.

Requesting PMC approval.
