Driver used: tptp.runtime-TPTP-4.4.1-200801140100

Setup:
Workbench started with IBM JDK 1.5.

Problem: 
When I launch a Java application with JVMTI agent from Workbench and try detach from the agent. The Java process is terminated as soon as I select 'Detach' action. 
This problem fails in both IAC and standalone AC case where standalone AC is setup with the same JDK.

With the attached patch Asaf, The Detach and Reattach work as expected.

However, start/stop monitoring after Reattach does not collect any information.

Start monitoring after reattach shows no data may relate to how agent flush rate is setup. Changing the polling frequency of profiling agent results better response on user view refresh response. However, manual option of polling frequency is only available in aggregate mode and problem cannot be resolved in detail execution flow mode.

Bug 216606 is opened to address the flush rate of agent to allow better response of UI on data refresh.
