This bug is to make nominations for the Top Contributor Award as part of the individual Eclipse Community Awards 2008. Please see http://www.eclipse.org/org/foundation/eclipseawards/ for details. Nominate someone by giving their name and a short explanation of their contributions to Eclipse.
I nominate Tom Schindl for all the cool GWT stuff he's contributing to EMF and his help with EMF data binding support.
I'd like to nominate Remy Chi Jian Suen for all the things he's contributing to the eclipse community (IRC,Newsgroup,Patches,Bugzilla-Feedback). Nobody is as fast as Remy to attach himself to bugs ;-)
I would like to nominate Jacek Pospychala for this award. Jacek has been contributing to PDE and other parts of Eclipse for the last several months and has fixed a lot of interesting bugs. On top of that, he also breathed some life into the new and improved log view!
Chris, +1 for Jacek too! He's contributed to EMF with patches as well. He's very helpful indeed!
+1 for Tom Schindl for is state of the art work on EMF DataBinding at large (BTW, I already gave him an ohlho.net kudo for that). I do not forget Ed Merks, I would certainly have co-nominate, if he wasn't already competing on the prestigious Top Ambassador award. regards, - Lucas

I know that nominations are closed but I wanted to throw a quick shout out for Mark Dexter. Mark is contributing awesome tutorials for Eclipse and Java newbie's. Check out the project and watch a few tutorials, novice or experienced the tutorials are great and very well done.
The final nominees will be: Jacek Pospychala Remy Chi Jian Suen NOTE: Tom Schindl won this award last year and the rule stipulate you can not be a repeat winner; so Tom can not be a nominee for this award.

I neglected to get this bug into my Task List and missed the boat on the Top Contributor nominations.
