Please let us know what TPTP version, what JRE version, and what O/S (Linux IA32? RedHat vx?) you are using.

Comment 4 Kirk Beers CLA 2008-03-04 13:40:52 EST
Is there any possibility of getting feedback on this issue? I posted on a Newsgroup to no satisfaction or response. I tried to run tptp on Ubuntu, Fedora and WinXP with Tomcat 6_25.

I am not sure this is the place for this but I am getting nowhere with Eclipse when trying to Profile and application and no assistance!!
Comment 5 Bing Xu CLA 2008-04-10 10:10:19 EDT
Rob, can you verify what ACCollector.dll exists.

for stand-alone AC, it's at
<WIN IA32 AC DIR>\plugins\org.eclipse.tptp.javaprofiler\.

for IAC it's at
<ECLIPSE>\plugins\org.eclipse.tptp.platform.jvmti.runtime_<version>\agent_files\win_ia32\.

Reassign to Bing.

Comment 8 Bing Xu CLA 2008-04-16 13:23:38 EDT
Rob, could this be related to 214788? Can you check if the .so links are created? And have you tried to use IAC to profile a simple Java application?
Comment 9 Rob CLA 2008-04-16 17:50:36 EDT
It looks like the same problem, the links are not there, just plain ascii.

As of TPTP 4.6.0, TPTP is in maintenance mode and focusing on improving quality by resolving relevant enhancements/defects and increasing test coverage through test creation, automation, Build Verification Tests (BVTs), and expanded run-time execution. As part of the TPTP Bugzilla housecleaning process (see http://wiki.eclipse.org/Bugzilla_Housecleaning_Processes), this enhancement/defect is verified/closed by the Project Lead since this enhancement/defect has been resolved and unverified for more than 1 year and considered to be fixed. If this enhancement/defect is still unresolved and reproducible in the latest TPTP release (http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/downloads/), please re-open.
