is and should

If one follows a link on planet eclipse to one of our blogs, i.e. http://dev.eclipse.org/blogs/jdtui/2007/12/04/text-templates-2/ then there is no context information about the blog shown. What I'm missing the most is:
Author name
Title of the blog

The author name should be a link directing to an about page.

It should basically look exactly the same as the overview page, where you have the different widgets on the right: Just show this widgets on the blog page as well.

See screen shot.

Marking as major, because this makes us look very bad, as if we would want to hide our identities.

From the dashboard, navigate to "Presentation > widgets". What do you see?

Drag the widgets off the "Sidebar 1" back into the "Available widgets". Just when you think it should be empty, a default sidebar will appear which should solve all your problems.

I need to sort out why the custom widgets don't work as we expect. Perhaps somebody may open a bug about that one day...

Yes, I see the default side bar thing, and the default side bar is also shown on the blog overview page (http://dev.eclipse.org/blogs/jdtui/) but still not on the blog page (http://dev.eclipse.org/blogs/jdtui/2007/12/04/text-templates-2/). Also no author name and no 'jdt/ui team blog' title.

I'm also missing the author name when reading eclipse.org blogs.

The Blogs site has undergone a massive upgrade, so I'm closing this as FIXED. Please reopen if the issue is still present in the new Blogs site.
