I just had a conversion with one of the GWT-Developers on IRC and he stated that Runnable won't get part of GWT-Core because it implies different things (or at least user could imply that (Threading, ...)). So we need to maintain our extensions to the GWT-JRE-Emulation.

Happy New Year! :) org.eclipse.equinox.common.gwt .. is this an official plug-in or just something you made up?
Everything is made up, like it should be - this is work in the Eclipse Incubator project.
(In reply to comment #8) > Happy New Year! :) > > org.eclipse.equinox.common.gwt .. is this an official plug-in or just something > you made up? > The projects are only placeholders for the patches and reimplementations of classes for use in GWT. If you look at the build.xml you'll notice that the resulting .jar is named "org.eclipse.equinox.common". Gunnar you also might be interested in the work I do with James Strachan in http://code.google.com/p/uface where we are exchanging ideas and code on how to provide a small facade around Java-UI-Toolkits. If you are interested you are more than welcome to join us ;-) I think it's going in the direction we talked about on ESE last year?

The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
