Description Bogdan Gheorghe CLA 2007-10-22 16:36:29 EDT
We have a new HPUX machine which means we can finally introduce HPUX back into the list of supported platforms. As such, it would be most helpful to have a launcher for it. Thanks!

First attempt to compile results in
cc: "/usr/include/machine/sys/_types.h", line 65: error 1802: The __fpreg type is not available on HP-PA systems.

Of course a port is never as easy as just recompiling...

Done in HEAD.
fragment name is org.eclipse.equinox.executable.motif.hpux.ia64_32
launcher sets the os/ws/arch to match that.

JNI launching of the vm is not quite working, so it defaults to execing java.

Andrew, can you add a map entry for this new launcher to the map file so I can run a test build.
Comment 4 Andrew Niefer CLA 2007-10-26 14:34:35 EDT
sorry, I made the change yesterday but forgot to commit it. The map file entry currently points to HEAD
