The import PSF file wizard has an flag "Run Project Set Import in Background". I find it odd because there is a workspace setting called "Always run in background".

If checked, it should run directly as a background job. If don't, instead of using the wizard page progress bar, it should open the standard progress dialog with the button "Run in background".
