Description Dani Megert CLA 2007-10-09 06:05:12 EDT
I20071009-0800.

Platform Text now uses the new SWT text styles to draw annotations. This results in bookmarks and tasks being rendered like problems. Which looks especially odd on the Mac. SWT needs to provide SWT.UNDERLINE_SQUIGGLE text style so that we can at least use the old look for things that aren't problems.

Will this be in this weeks I-build?

Should be.

NOTE: We still believe strongly that you should be using the native error indication. The folks at Apple have seen it and approve.

Then bug 207934 should either be closed (since they approved) or get higher prio again and fixed.

My plan is to surface the error style for problems and use squiggles for other stuff like bookmarks and tasks. How does that sound?

Sounds ok. What do other Mac applications use for things like our bookmarks and tasks.

I'm at Apple right now. I'll try to find out about bug 207934.

No clue - I'm not a Mac user. André?
