Steps To Reproduce:
1.select an ascii file from a cvs project
2.right click - Team - change ASCII/Binary properties
3.in the lower left box choose "Binary (-kb)"
error message:
"cvsnt server: admin -k no longer affects future chekins. use update -k / commit -f instead"

This is related to your use of CVSNT. Although mostly standard when properly configured for use with Eclipse, CVSBNT still has some incompatibilites with standard CVS. One of them is in how CVSNT handles keyword substitution modes.
