You don't have an (Net4j) examples branding plugin. I don't know if this is a problem, but I'm making a note of it in case we hit a new brick wall further along.

org.eclipse.net4j.examples plugin was missing -> FIXED
org.eclipse.emf.cdo.examples plugin was missing -> FIXED
build.xml of the doc plugins didn't containe modeling32.png -> FIXED
about.* were missing from various branding plugins -> FIXED

Branding plugin := pluginID == featureID
