Description Jörg von Frantzius CLA 2002-06-14 10:49:16 EDT
The Members view one gets in combination with a Packages and Types view does not
show fields types (as does e.g. the Outline view). Java Preferences seems to
have no option to turn it on.
Comment 1 Dirk Baeumer CLA 2002-06-14 11:58:50 EDT
Yes thats correct. You can only turn that on for methods. For 2.0 we are in a
mode where we only fix critical bugs. So this one will not make it in.

Postponing > 2.0

Replacing [browsing] with [general issue] since it is a general decorator issue:
the Java -> Appearance prefernece page should allow to enable or disable field
types as it does for method return types.
Comment 4 Dirk Baeumer CLA 2003-04-28 06:03:20 EDT
Chaning state from assigned later to resolved later. Assigned later got
introduced by the last bug conversion and is not a supported Eclipse bug state.
Comment 5 Markus Keller CLA 2004-12-06 04:30:42 EST
Could we consider fixing this for 3.1?
Comment 6 Dirk Baeumer CLA 2004-12-06 04:35:12 EST
Markus, whz do zou consider this important for 3.1
Comment 7 Markus Keller CLA 2004-12-06 04:51:50 EST
I think this is a quick fix which was only not implemented because the bug came
in during the 2.0 lockdown phase. Making this consistent in all views (Outline,
Members, Type Hierarchy, ...) would contribute to the "Simple to use" theme.
Comment 8 Denis Roy CLA 2009-08-30 02:21:10 EDT
As of now 'LATER' and 'REMIND' resolutions are no longer supported.
Please reopen this bug if it is still valid for you.
