The stack service is for the most part already implemented.  There are a few outstanding issues for it, including writing a test suite.

Closing out this umbrella bug.  The stack service implementation isn't pretty, but it seems to work well enough...

I agree that the current implementation is not pretty.  How about I open an enhancement bug to "Clean up stack service"?

Certainly.  Please include some specifics on what needs to be refactored.  I found that I've been coming across some bugs that I created early in DD which are a little too vague to be very useful.
