When a committer switches employers, it isn't quite clear what happens to committership. The FAQ should be updated to help committers in this situation.

Chris, not sure what you want. Did you change you address and/or email address via the portal when you changed employers? If so, you will have seen an email like the one in step 23 of https://dev.eclipse.org/portal/myfoundation/tests/swim.php?file=finished/change_personal_address_when_person_is_a_committer.txt&lines=20

That email says "Because you have changed employers..." and explains what to do.

I think Chris opened this bug report to help me out figure out the transition steps that I need to take when I changed employers.

There was nothing in the FAQ about that and that is what this bug report is supposed to address.
