Build ID: I20070625-1500 Steps To Reproduce: 1. Select a query in the Task List 2. Either press F5 or using the menu start a synchonise 3. An error dialog appears (plasee see attached screen shot) More information: Eclipse 3.3 - please see attached configuration report Jira - Professional Edition, Version: 3.3.3-#99 OS - both Windows XP and Linux (RHEL 5) The problem appears to be contamination of my workspace. The problem first occured after I migrated from Eclipse 3.2 to 3.3. On our XP machines I simply upgraded the existing workspaces, but as the Linux workstations used clean workspaces. The problem then only occurred on the XP systems. I then recreated the XP workspace afresh and the problem disappeared. I have now experienced the problem on the Linux workstations after a couple of days usage. I have found that if I removed the queries and the repository, restart Eclipse and recreate the repositories and queries the problem sometimes (but not always) disappears for a time. I have also found that the periodic synscronisation performed by Mylyn works perfectly fine. I can also select one or more, or even all of the tasks in the query and trigger a syncronsistion and it works fine. I can open, update and save queries wihtout a problem. I can search issues without a probblem. When the error occurs there is no stack trace in the log. Following the tips in the FAQ I have turned on Mylyn dugging and find that I always get the following in the console output regardless if I am accessing my repositor or one of the public repositories noted in the FAQ: [Fatal Error] :82707:3: The element type "rss" must be terminated by the matching end-tag "
". [Fatal Error] :82707:3: The element type "rss" must be terminated by the matching end-tag "
".

Eugene, Steffen: any ideas?
I wonder if that is caused by a timeout (the server prematurely closing the connection). JIRA 3.3.3 is also the lowest version number supported but we haven't done extensive testing against it.
Joel, please reopen the bug if are you still seeing this problem with the latest release of Mylyn: http://www.eclipse.org/mylyn/downloads/
