Actually you can only associate a server runtime (and consequently the project itself) with a java runtime. It would be good to be able to associate it with a execution environment, so it is automatically mapped to a proper java runtime, no matter what is the name of JRE on your machine. Normal java projects allow it, and I always use this feature. This helps when sharing the project using CVS, and different people have installed the same JRE level with different update versions in their machines.
