Could it be possible to change the cookie duration to 24h?

Alternatively, would it be possible to use a "Remember me" option, that would set the cookie duration to 2 weeks ?

I'm not sure what you're talking about -- I never need to login, and my cookie expires sometime in 2037.

When logging in, make sure you clear the checkbox for improved security if you log in from multiple computers.

I have to log-in frequently (at least every two days, sometimes more often). What can I do to help you investigate what is going on?

I do login from several computers, and I always clear the checkbox.

There's something preventing one of your browsers from keeping or transmitting the cookie. I've tried to reproduce this every way from Sunday and I can't. Each of the browsers I used on each of my physical Internet connections preserves the cookie, which is set to expire in 2037.

If this was a problem on the server side, it would affect more than two people. There's nothing else I can do here.

This is affecting me as well. I have to log in every morning and every night (if I'm checking from home) and sometimes even in the middle of the day. I use the same browser on the same computer in both locations. I use Firefox 2.0.0.7 with a spattering of plug-ins, the most notable of which are Greasemonkey, Web Developer, Fire FTP, and del.icio.us bookmarks.
