This is a minor annoyance but may be a symptom of an actual problem so I thought I'd report it... - start a fresh Firefox session - go to enter a new bug using https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/enter_bug.cgi?classification=Eclipse - you get prompted to login. Fair enough. log in - rather than entering a new Eclipse bug, click on the New link at the bottom of the page to get the general new bug page - you get prompted again (actualy it might be when you go to actually commit a new bug). Either way the point is that the first login does not seem to have "stuck"
I can confirm the issue. I suspect it has something to do with the bug entry wizard.
I tried to reproduce this on Firefox and Konqueror on a couple of machines, and couldn't. Is it possible the foot of snow we got in Ottawa yesterday fixed this? If not, please reopen, but so far I can't reproduce this.
Still exists. - Log out - Click on "New" (in the footer) -> https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/enter_bug_wizard.cgi - Enter login credentials and click Login -> You land on https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/enter_bug.cgi and are not logged in yet, i.e. you need to login again.

That's different than what was described in comment 0. You'd think these committer people could file better bug reports ;) I don't have an easy fix for this, so I'll let it simmer a bit.
Lowering severity to 'minor'
Since the Wizard will be going away in favour of a guided entry, this problem will also go away witj bug 244441.
The old Bug wizard is no longer with us, so this is no longer an issue.
