Steps To Reproduce:
1. Create a new External Tools configuration using any Ant file.
2. Change the JRE settings to use any Execution Environment.
3. Click Apply, and then Close.
4. Return to the External Tools dialog and check the launch configuration.  It will be back to the original JRE setting.

More information:
Reproduced on both Windows XP and Mac OS X (both using same build of Eclipse).

Installation package was "Eclipse IDE for Java EE Developers" (includes WTP, etc.).

Only third-party plug-in installed is JProfiler 5.0 integration.
