Description Helen CLA 2007-07-16 14:10:20 EDT
XPlanner connector does not currently have a custom editor for creating new tasks.
Comment 1 Mik Kersten CLA 2007-07-16 16:25:25 EDT
Raising priority since from other connectors that first lacked this we know it to be a key component of staying within the Eclipse/Mylyn workflow.

Excellent, patch applied. I could not verify without a test repository, do we have one set up yet?
Comment 5 Helen CLA 2007-08-24 17:31:15 EDT
I believe the repository Robert installed should work if the jdk on that server has been switched to jdk 1.5. I haven't heard whether it's been successful or not.
Comment 6 Eugene Kuleshov CLA 2007-08-24 17:56:43 EDT
Mik, you can download self contained bundle of xplanner server and simply run it locally.
Comment 7 Helen CLA 2007-08-24 18:12:13 EDT
Yes, the simple local server is basically what was installed for a test server, and should work. Mik, if you really want to try this on your own, you can go to http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=49017&package_id=42226&release_id=419189
 to get the download.

Warning! There appears to be some corruption that happens in the associated user story when a task is added using the new task editor in XPlanner -- there is another bug to track this issue: bug 201464. I would avoid using the new task editor feature on any kind of production xplanner server until that bug is fixed.
