Build ID: I20070525-1350 Steps To Reproduce: 1. In CDT settings, have altered color scheme to use dark blue color for background and light (white, yellow ...) colors for foreground text. I have also altered background color of code completion select box to also dark blue 2. Problem is with grey selection bar on select box - I found no way of altering its color. It is similar to some of the colors in my color scheme, so some texts are badly readable. 3. Worse problem is with the code hint popup that will show declaration of something if I hover mouse a while on it. Its background color is somewhat orange-yellow, which makes my syntax higlighting almost invisible on it. I have found no way to set its color too.
Created attachment 69685 [details] helper popup window - example of bad colors Inability to alter color of this helper popup window makes the text badly readable. Grey on orange is almost invisible, I found no way to alter the "orange" color

The list selection color is a system default which cannot be changed from within Eclipse. You need to change this within the OS/Window system. See also the SWT FAQ on how to change default fonts and colors under GTK: <http://www.eclipse.org/swt/faq.php#gtkfontsandcolors>. The source hover background color can be configured in 5.0 (bug 194312). (In reply to comment #3) > Adds chars '?' ',' '/' to operators color list. Please open a new bug for that.
