Build ID: agntctrl.win_ia32-TPTP-4.3.1.zip Steps To Reproduce: 0. I'm on Windows XP with Jrockit 1.5.0_10 1. I've installed agntctrl.win_ia32-TPTP-4.3.1.zip according to the provided documentation 2. Set up Agent Controller by running SetConfig.bat 3. Run ACServer.exe, I get the following error : "Error starting transport layers, Agent controller exiting. See servicelog.log for error report." 4. In the servicelog.log I've a strange execution environnement like that : D:\cygwin\home\build... and I don't have this path neither on my computer, neither in the configuration file ! Hi. Can you edit the following: <Jvm>jvm.dll</Jvm> To point to the fully qualified path of "jvm.dll" under "D:\java\jrockit1.5.0_10"? For example, using Sun JVM it should look like: <Jvm>D:\jdk1.5.0_09\jre\bin\server\jvm.dll</Jvm> The reason is that the config generator is not capable of handling JRockit JREs at the 4.3.1 release. This has been fixed in 4.4.
I've tested AgentController 4.4. Now when I launch SetConfgig.exe the jvm property is set properly to : <Jvm>D:\java\jrockit1.5.0_10\jre\bin\jrockit\jvm.dll</Jvm> But I still have the same issue. From the log it seems that there is another Agent Controller running: "REASON: Cannot open named pipe ramaster. Make sure the named pipe is free and no other Agent Controller is running or any LOCAL direct connections exist." Is it possible that there is one running as a Windows system service? Or may it be the Integrated Agent Controller (IAC, which is part of the Eclipse workbench) still running? You can do the following to make sure: 1. Open Windows service manager and check if there is an AC running. Stop it if it is. 2. Shutdown the Eclipse workbench to make sure the IAC is not running. 3. Try starting the AC again. Hi. I am testing the TPTP-4.4.0-200705310943 AC driver with BEA JRockit 1.5.0_10. I can start the AC successfully and profiled a Java application. Can you download the latest AC 4.4 driver and see if the problem still persist? Also make sure there is no other AC running on the system since the attached log indicates such a possibility.

As of TPTP 4.6.0, TPTP is in maintenance mode and focusing on improving quality by resolving relevant enhancements/defects and increasing test coverage through test creation, automation, Build Verification Tests (BVTs), and expanded run-time execution. As part of the TPTP Bugzilla housecleaning process (see http://wiki.eclipse.org/Bugzilla_Housecleaning_Processes), this enhancement/defect is verified/closed by the Project Lead since this enhancement/defect has been resolved and unverified for more than 1 year and considered to be fixed. If this enhancement/defect is still unresolved and reproducible in the latest TPTP release (http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/downloads/), please re-open.
