It would be great if I could take a screen shot (or even modify it: e.g. crop) while adding a new attachment to a bug. Justification for this is that a screenshot is type of attachment which is submitted almost as often as patches and logs. The requested change would make it easier to attach a screenshot illustrating a problem.

The problem is that SWT don't provide support for retrieving images from the clipboard

We could probably implement some internal tool to take screenshots [1] but it is much more work and likely out of scope of Mylar. Unless someone is willing to contribute this.
