Description Gilbert Le Blanc CLA 2007-04-05 13:48:39 EDT
A "Copy to Clipboard" button for the About Eclipse SDK Features, the Feature Plug-Ins, and the About Eclipse SDK Plug-Ins windows would be helpful when tracking down problems.

I realize that these windows are displayed as tables. A simple tabbed format would be sufficient for the remote reporting of an Eclipse configuration.

This information would be helpful to me in my support of multiple Eclipse configurations, and would be helpful to those groups that support Eclipse plug-ins.

Although this bug is much older, I'm marking it as a duplicate of the newer bug because that bug discusses exactly how we would go about it.

In 3.5, the about pages contributed by p2 provide clipboard support. Bug 266186 discusses moving this code into the installation page framework so that all table-based about pages would get it.
