Your using XP not Vista - right?
Windows XP Professional Version 2002 Service Pack 2
I experience the same problem. WinXP SP2.
The basic version of this (i.e. selection changing in general) was fixed just after M6 went out. Last week's I-buld should have it if you wnt to try it out. I'm still working to get the editor area handling correct... *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 178914 ***
