With JDT/UI in the workspace:
1. Go to Search>File Search
2. Containing text: NewSourceFolderCreationWizard
3. File name pattern: *.xml
4. Search-> 5 matches in plugin.xml from jdt/ui
5. In search view press next
   -> wizard extension point is shown in plugin.xml editor
6. Select 'Extensions' tab
   -> Source Folder (wizard) extension is selected (but not shown!)
7. Press next 4 times in search view (until commonWizard ext point is shown)
8. Set focus to plugin editor
Is:
  Editor does scroll back to the Source Folder wizard extension declaration (because this extension is selected on the extensions tab)
Should:
  Not scroll! It took me a while to find out what's going on here. I want to edit the commonWizard extension declaration, but whenever I go to the editor, bumm, it scrolls away, very annoying.

This appears to be the same problem reported in Bug # 180396. When I fix that bug , I will make sure that it works for the scenario you provided here.
