Description Vlad Klicnik CLA 2002-05-28 09:12:19 EDT
I did 'one click update" and started installing all located features. I
canceled the operation after the first feature was installed and the second one
started installing.

The result was that partial changes for the second one were backed out, but the
first one was not. I am guessing this is because all located features are
treated independently in terms of the install operation.

Not sure if there is an easy way of fixing this short term (for 2.0). Need to
decide based on doability. One possible avenue to investigate is to fake out
the install by treating the selected features as a single nested feature (so
commit happens for all at the end of the processing).

Defer post 2.0.

In 2.0 any of the top-level features (incl. nested) that have already been
successfully installed will "stick". The workaround for ensuring several
features get installed as a unit is to nest them.
