I'd like to suggest to alter hyperlink activation behavior. I think we should use standard Eclipse's modifier key for hyperlink detector activation (configured in Eclipse properties). That would resolve with text selection using mouse. Additionally, to make those hyperlinks more noticeable, we may try to put some hyperlink decoration on the text that is detected as a hyperlink.

Here is the candidate fields that needs hyperlinking: comments, description, summary (?), depends/blocks/duplicates, url. Custom connectors may also have other fields.

I wonder if JavaStackTraceHyperlinkDetector should be registered to the org.eclipse.ui.DefaultTextEditor target or only for task editor target like org.eclipse.mylyn.tasks.ui.TaskEditor?
