Description Kevin Horowitz CLA 2007-03-15 15:52:01 EDT
Implement a new feature to provide a run mechanism for non-Midp Java ME projects.
Comment 1 Kevin Horowitz CLA 2007-03-19 15:31:50 EDT
Provided a new Run JavaME window that uses the new data stored in the metadata. Data is stored the same way as the root directory with runtime and runtime arguments stored here. Device Provider now has way to view this information.
Comment 2 Kevin Horowitz CLA 2007-04-24 14:36:56 EDT
Code to add the new executable is not working in the latest code stream.

Could you provide more concrete documentation about the problem and also analysis about the needed changes due to the proposal. Is there UI design proposal?

If the model should be changed, then we need further analysis about it's impact to the other components.

Another issue is that on which target emulator this is planned and is there a needed device- and runtime platform support available.
Comment 4 Kevin Horowitz CLA 2007-05-30 08:50:35 EDT
We have discussed the details during our conference calls. Please provide the promised documentation on the generating the code, and then we can discuss the changes again. The documentation was promised multiple times already. This code was functional, and changes to the use of the model broke the code. Look at the existing code to see what is broken.
Comment 5 Arto Laurila CLA 2007-05-30 09:07:46 EDT
As there are working components now in the CVS and I do not see any such broken feature, now You have to open a bit more your plans.

As the MTJ EMF usage is done by normal EMF guides, I think that I did tell this also during last telco. The only thing that is different, comes from when adding the license text to the generated files.
I do not have any own framework when generating the model src.

As already agreed in earlier, we have to be careful when making changes to the model. Please, send your change plan and we can work this out.
