Description Gabriel Indik CLA 2007-02-20 14:17:18 EST
Steps To Reproduce:
Create a read-only file in the workspace. Open the XML Catalogue page in the Preferences dialog box, click on "Advanced" and then on "Export". Choose the read-only file and click on save. The export dialog box closes with no warnings or error messages.

Expected behaviour:
There should be an error message about the catalog not being exported (and the IO cause)

A Fix for this problem has been developed in the patch for bug 113249

Gabriel, perhaps this bug has been rendered invalid by the XML catalog export being refactored as an export wizard?
Comment 3 Gabriel Indik CLA 2008-05-09 17:38:27 EDT
Valentin, that is correct, the new XML Catalog Import/Export wizard requires that exported file names do not correspond to that of an existing file in the workspace. So this bug has been fixed indirectly.
Comment 4 Gabriel Indik CLA 2008-05-09 17:39:26 EDT
Fixed indirectly by bug 192568
Comment 5 Valentin Baciu CLA 2008-05-09 18:41:42 EDT
Closing.
