When I switch perspectives, the toolbar seems to grow vertically a couple pixels and then shrinks back when the new perspective becomes visible. During the switch, a toolbar item and trim control button appear briefly. Eric has witnessed this. Non of my windows are minimized.

This looks to be an issue where we have -had- a minimized Editor Area stack but no longer have one and we switch perspectives. Check the 'onActivate' / 'onDeactivate' methods to see what's up...
