It would be nice to have task key and task handle in the RepositoryTaskData object.

Though may need to move key up to ITask first as been suggested in bug 170587

170587: AbstractRepositoryTask.getHandle() method should be eliminated

I think so. Mik haven't moved anything into the ITask.

I don't think that we need this any more since AbstractRepositoryTask has it, and you if for some reason you don't have one of those you can look up the attribute.  But if there is a compelling reason to have it feel free to reopen.

The reason to have it on ITask is the assymetry between local and repository tasks. I.e. for the commit template...
