Task Editor should have Context tab that would show content of the task context in a hierarchical form, similar to Package Explorer or Navigator views. This can be used to review context before submission, and also for some tweaking (i.e. remove elements that should not be shared).
Ok I think that describes it even better what I had in mind when I added comment 5 in bug 147537.
Eugene, what do you have exactly in mind? Is this about just a table viewer of task context model? Wouldn't this be too low level to average user (although I've been always curious to have some type of viewer to this type of data)?
Actually I was thinking of tree viewer grouped by project/folder/resource/class/method/etc. Basically the same way as you can see it in Navigator with Mylar filtering applied.
This idea has come up a few times on other bug reports, and we even had the Visualiser providing such an editor tab in an early prototype. Since bug 107259 describes the general problem, I've moved the discussion there. After settling on a desigh we can use this bug report for the Task Editor tab implementation.
Implemented via bug 107259. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 107259 ***
