It would be nice if I could add a repository task directly from the bug # instead of having to do a search. If there's an easier way to do it, I missed it :) If that's the case, it would be nice if we could make it more discoverable.
See Eclipse menu: Navigate > Open Repository Task (Ctrl+Shift+F12) There is facility there to add an existing task.
BTW, that is broken for JIRA and will require Mik's hand to be fixed...
Is there a way I can add the repository tasks to my list after I've opened it?
Select the check box at the bottom of the "Open Repository Task" dialog "Add to task list category" and you can select in which category (or root) to place it. There isn't a direct way to add an already opened remote task to the task list. (In reply to comment #2) > BTW, that is broken for JIRA and will require Mik's hand to be fixed... Eugene, if not already done, please post a new bug for this.

This does work for Bugzilla (and probably Trac), but not for JIRA. > > BTW, that is broken for JIRA and will require Mik's hand to be fixed... > Eugene, if not already done, please post a new bug for this. Already did. See bug 170587
(In reply to comment #4) > There isn't a direct way to add an already opened remote task to the task list. Thanks, that's what I wanted to know. I've filed #170659 as an enhancement request.
Rob, seems like you need to handle #XXXX patterns as bug hyperlinks too...
Yup, looks like it. :) Added to bug#146964.
