Description Marco Tedone CLA 2007-01-12 12:11:04 EST
Hi, I'm accessing a JIRA task through the Mylar interface. The task currently has got a reporter and an assignee (I can also see these through the interface). If I add a comment and post it, after submitting the task has got an 'unknown' reporter. This is quite a serious bug. From what I can see I'm running Mylar JIRA Connector 1.0.1
Comment 1 Mik Kersten CLA 2007-01-21 21:21:38 EST
Eugene: have you seen anything of this sort? It looks like we're losing the reporter. I haven't noticed anything like this.

Rob: any ideas? I vaguely recall your seeing something of this sort before we got all the attributes working.

Marco: are you able to reproduce this with a public repository, or just your own? Does your Jira repository have any major customizations?
Comment 2 Eugene Kuleshov CLA 2007-01-21 21:39:11 EST
I haven't seen this, but I've been avoiding submitting more or less complicated comments trough the editor.
Note that we also have issues with special comment formatting.

Investigating....
Comment 4 Robert Elves CLA 2007-01-22 15:32:33 EST
I could not reproduce but this may result with a different jira server than what I tested against. That said reporter wasn't being set on outgoing data. It is now being set. Please verify this is resolved after testing with next dev build (Friday).

Comment 6 Robert Elves CLA 2007-02-12 12:41:54 EST
Marco, can you verify if this is resolved in the latest dev build?
Comment 7 Marco Tedone CLA 2007-02-13 03:59:14 EST
I can't test the dev since it requires Eclipse 3.3 and I've got Eclipse 3.2
Comment 8 Robert Elves CLA 2007-02-13 10:26:34 EST
Okay. A 3.2 dev build will be available this Friday.
Comment 9 Steffen Pingel CLA 2007-02-13 21:19:04 EST
Marco, which version of JIRA are you using?
Comment 10 Mik Kersten CLA 2007-02-14 01:05:09 EST
Fyi, 3.2 dev build coming early tomorrow.
Comment 11 Eugene Kuleshov CLA 2007-02-14 01:33:29 EST
Mik, can you please, please, please fix bug 166174 before that.
Comment 12 Steffen Pingel CLA 2007-02-18 00:10:58 EST
This has been fixed as part of bug 170718. Mik, could you provide an updated 3.2 dev bulild?

Fix is in Mylar 2.0M1.
Comment 14 Mik Kersten CLA 2007-02-19 14:04:44 EST
Sorry, I didn't notice that this didn't make it into 2.0M1. Will plan to do a 3.2 dev build this Friday.
