Steps To Reproduce:
Refer to bug 167673 for testcase.

After fix for bug 167673, tags containing dotless-i do not have validation warnings in HTML Editor.

David, I think you worked on the dotless i issues before?

Looks like the only solution would be to put a special check(dirty hack) for small dotless i, since small dotless i is converted to I in all locales.

More work have been done to prevent this issue https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=397779, I think, it does not deserve an extra validation, since the only way to check this is by a putting a spacial check ( as is mentioned in previous comment ) and is specific to a particular language. I think this should be resolved. Please reopen if you consider it deserves more attention.
