Description Andrew Niefer CLA 2006-12-21 14:10:25 EST
Using 3.3. experimental Presentation, in N20061220-0010.
I have the search and hierarchy views minimized at the bottom of my screen. There are trim stack buttons to bring them up.
I click the button to bring the search up, then click the same button to make it go away.

The | Writable | Smart Insert | 906 : 26 | segments of the status bar disappear.

If instead of clicking the button to make the search go away, I instead hit the minimize button, things are ok. Similarily if I hit escape to make it go away, things are fine there as well.

Should work the same as the ESC flow...

Aha, this is an issue with the activation. IF I place the Search view in the legacy FVB then is works correctly because the editor is being re-activated when the view hides (however it happened). If it's in a TrimStack then the editor doesn't get re-activated on the hide...

Deferring to M6.
