when you try to commit changes to a bugzilla bug ticket without a comment, you get this big error window saying a lot of stuff. It looks like some serious problem occured within SWT.

Have a nice simple dialog instead saying nothing else but "Please specify a comment" or something like that.

Yes, I agree. With the recent improvements to editor abstraction we lost some error presentation. Many of the common, less than critical errors are being reported in this ugly dialog. I'm going to leave this as an enhancement but am bumping up the priority since we'd like to have this resolved soon and the solution needs work for all connectors.
