Description ccocchiaro CLA 2006-12-11 09:44:06 EST
I want the Eclipse JavaScript Editor to be the default editor when a .js file is opened in our application. However, we use a third party plugin that overrides this editor and makes its' own editor the default editor for .js files. How can I create a file association in our own plugin that overrides this third party editor and makes the Eclipse editor the default one for .js files? Thanks!

Unfortunately, I do not think there is a way.

Marking as dup of 136945 since your request/scenario sounds very similar to it.
