Description Dave Smith CLA 2006-11-24 02:02:17 EST
The following problem was found when running Filters_Log_Edit4 testcase in Trace.UI.Filters test suite:

Specifying an Advanced Log filter with multiple attributes that are OR'ed sometimes causes more records to be shown in the Log View than are in the log. Some records are duplicated in the view.

For example:

1) Import the access_V400_Apache.log Apache access log file
2) Create the following Advanced filter and apply it:
Additional Data Attribute Name = category
Severity = 30|40|50
3) The label at the top of the Log View says "Log Records (Page 1 of 2 Filter matched 168 of 112 records) and there are 168 records shown in the view but some of them are duplicates.

As of TPTP 4.6.0, TPTP is in maintenance mode and focusing on improving quality by resolving relevant enhancements/defects and increasing test coverage through test creation, automation, Build Verification Tests (BVTs), and expanded run-time execution. As part of the TPTP Bugzilla housecleaning process (see http://wiki.eclipse.org/Bugzilla_Housecleaning_Processes), this enhancement/defect is verified/closed by the Project Lead since this originator of this enhancement/defect has an inactive Bugzilla account and considered to be fixed. If this enhancement/defect is still unresolved and reproducible in the latest TPTP release (http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/downloads/), please re-open.
