The MAx in TPTP 4.3, shows resource URIs in the topology view - however these are contributed by the actual managed agent implementations and not mandated by the MAX framework. This feature will update the managed agents to provide more meaningful information and the MAx will be updated to show this information in a more intutive manner - today they are shown after a user clicks ona resource.
From 165565: In the "Resource Topology" section, it is difficult to differentiate what resource you are looking at. This is partially due to the fact that in WSDM, the EPR is intended to be opaque relative to the actual resource. However, when the EPR does contain additional information, e.g. reference parameters, we should have a way to present those in this section. When viewing a service group, once a resource is selected, the information should be presented better. In several circumstances the property value extends passed the viewing area. Possible solution is to word wrap the value field.
Removing target because it has not been approved by PMC yet for inclusion in the 4.4 plan. Adding sizing from description document.
Created attachment 61786 [details] Patch for Improved display of resources
As of TPTP 4.6.0, TPTP is in maintenance mode and focusing on improving quality by resolving relevant defects and increasing test coverage through test creation, automation, Build Verification Tests (BVTs), and expanded run-time execution. As such, TPTP is not delivering enhancements. As part of the TPTP Bugzilla housecleaning process (see http://wiki.eclipse.org/Bugzilla_Housecleaning_Processes), this enhancement is resolved as WONTFIX. For this enhancement to be considered, please re-open with an attached patch including the Description Document (see http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/documents/process/development/description_documents.html), code (see http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/documents/resources/TPTPDevGuide.htm), and test cases (see http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/documents/process/TPTP_Testing_Strategy.html).
