Description Bianca Jiang CLA 2006-11-10 15:30:42 EST
Help >> Help Contents >> Testing Applications >> Reference >> Test Log viewer Events page

Need documentation on "Defect" section for bugzilla defect tracking support. There's also a preference page on customizing it. (Window > Preferences > Test > Test Log Viewer).

Also, in the same doc topc "Test Log Viewer Events Page", two section names were changed in the UI:
Common Properties > Properties
Detailed Properties > Extended Properties
The doc should be updated.
Comment 1 Paul Slauenwhite CLA 2006-11-13 08:59:21 EST
Please use the Test.Doc component.

This content has not yet been written and cannot be completed in time for 4.3 i3. As such, deferring to 4.4 and adjusting the priority.

As discussed on this week's Test Project call (January 22, 2007), the Test Project will focus on existing P1 - P2/Blocker - Major and P1/Normal and test creation/automation defects (omitting defects dependant on outstanding features) in TPTP 4.4. All other Test Project defects have been targeted to future.

If this defect has been targeted to future and you/originator feel it should be completed in 4.4, please provide the necessary reason as a reply to this comment or a post to the Test Project mailing list (tptp-test-tooling-dev@eclipse.org). We will collectively triage and assess our resources to determine a case-by-case decision.

Reassigning to the Project Lead.
Comment 11 Paul Slauenwhite CLA 2008-05-27 14:30:18 EDT
Note, there is documentation for the defect tracking function, but in a separate page (Help >> Help Contents >> Testing Applications >> Testing with JUnit >> Analyzing test results >> Associating defects with a test log), which needs to be integrated with the 'Test Log viewer Events page' documentation page. In addition, the preferences for the defect tracking function and updated resulting from UI are required under this defect.

Please reopen if the issue is still present in the latest TPTP release or the
