I am recieving a message when I try to start eclipse,

I get the following message:

"Error notifying a preference change listener. Check the log for details."

I cannot fine the log.

It use to be working fine, until i ran it using super admin, and even with super admin it still provides that error.

this is occuring while loading the workspace.

I also had this exact same error message. I found a temporary workaround by deleting my
~/workspace/.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.ui.workbench.texteditor
folder as well as my
~/workspace/.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.ui.workbench
folder so I'm pretty certain this problem has something to do with the way the program is reading it's own preferences.
