The org.eclipse.gmf.examples.ui.pde plug-in has no translation fragments and, hence, does not have translations of any of the text that appears in the 'New Example' wizard, including the category name, example name, and example description.

Also, I wonder whether, as these examples demonstrate the run-time library, the plug-in ID shouldn't be 'org.eclipse.gmf.examples.runtime.ui.pde'?

This examples wizard is a generalized version of the *.runtime.examples.ui.pde 
plug-in.

There is no translations in Europa.

Since this is an IBM issue against the runtime, moving to runtime.

There are no plans to fix this issue as there are no formal translations in Ganymede. Note that the plug-in can be translated by consumers if that is what they wish.
