I'd like to request that these APIs be made public via the IServer interface - they are useful for registering interest in publish events.

Hi John. Maybe I'm missing something.... didn't we already add these via bug 117905? I see these methods added to IServer on Nov 24th last year.

This is part of a mass update to close out all stale WTP bugs which are in the resolved state without an appropriate targeted version.  If you feel this bug was closed inappropriately, please reopen.
