Description David Williams CLA 2006-08-08 18:28:54 EDT
In CVS Repository Explorer ... if I select a repository, and say "refresh branches", I would have expected it to "remove" branch names that no longer existed in the repository. It appears not to do so. (I'll bet you never thought anyone deleted branch names from a repository, right? :) But, I do, on rare occasion).

The workaround, to be sure to have a fresh, accurate list of repository brnaches, is to delete
.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.team.cvs.ui/repositoriesView.xml

Itself a questionable practice, I'm sure!

(BTW, the main "use case" for this is when a branch is created with the wrong name, and perhaps is a confusing name, so ... I wanted to remove the branch name itself, not the revisions per se).
