Description Patrick Paulin CLA 2006-07-23 15:03:55 EDT
On the Mac platform, multiline text controls on form pages are being rendered without borders. Examples of this are the "Program Arguments" and "VM Arguments" fields on the Launcher tab of the RCP Product Editor. Unlike bug 151527, this issue appears unrelated to the noFocusRing flag.

This also occurs in RCP applications, which is my main concern.

I checked again with Eclipse 3.3. The problem seems to be fixed.

It's hard to see in the launcher because of the dark background.
In Mylyn it's obvious that the border is there now. See duplicate bug 122927.
Can somebody else confirm that this bug is fixed?

Environment:
Mac OS X 10.4.10 Build 8R218

java version "1.5.0_07"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_07-164)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.5.0_07-87, mixed mode, sharing)

Yes, this does appear to be fixed in 3.3. Looks like this may be related to bug 173572.
