(I'm assuming this is the right place, I can't find a definitive home for JFace.)

I'd like to see a date/time entry control added to JFace, with a popup calendar. Even nicer would be a complete date/time control with formatted string display and entry, as well as a popup calendar and clock.

I intend to use this within an EMF-generated app, so it would be especially nice if this handled XML date types.

marking this as a duplicate of the aforementioned SWT bug.
I don't see that we would try to solve this in the JFace layer without a definitive answer from SWT. Since there are evolving platform implementations, this should really be done at the SWT level.
